Never been to Okinawa but would definately love to see it! This was take from a hammock (?!) on my verandah during my time in the Solomon Islands. Got a tonne of similar work that i'll have to post soon :)

P.S do you know the longitude and latitude? I love looking places (in photos)up on Google earth. I have tried to add that on most of my photos on DA.

Great will hopefully dig them out soon - as for the co-ordinates i am not certain. The location though is Honiara, Solomon Islands. The ocean in front is Guadacanal or iron bottom sound (named after the amount of shipping that went to the bottom in ww2)and the islands under the cloud are the florida islands and maravagi.

II love looking at google earth. If you have ever looked at it if you have traveled the world you can look at the places you have been to. If you copy this # you may recognize the place you took the photo. 9°26'01.71"S 159°57'57.99"E

No problem. As a Marine and a history buff I love looking at the south pacific islands. I want to go back some day.
